ARC was successful in applying for a Darebin City council grant to develop a Promotional DVD and Information Kit to be distributed to high schools in the local area.

The DVD will contain a few short films, each targeting a different audience. The production of these short films will be in conjunction with Curried Lint Productions, a local multimedia production company featuring 2 ex-ARCians, Steffan van Lint and Peter Curry. It is envisioned that the short films will contain footage of all of ARC's activities, including everything from the musical production, ARCappella, Variety Night to showing young ARCians in committee meetings, set construction/costume working bees, fundraising events and so on.

The Information Kit will be an information kit to support the effect of the DVD's films with more detailed information about ARC, its activities and how to get involved. These two items will be combined to form a single package designed to promote ARC to the community, chiefly by engaging high schools in the area, and therefore to attract more members and grow the company.

Music Production

The Music on the DVD was produced by Fotis Gimian at Dreamaway Productions. Our thanks to Fots for all his help in the production work for this project. Here is a short bio on Fots and his work:

Sound Palace is a project I started around 8 years ago with the aim to blend classical music with trance music. Everyone calls me Fots and I write, produce and mix all Sound Palace music in my home studio (Dreamaway Productions). I am also currently working on a project called Dreamaway which is based on the Emotional (Emo) Rock genre. I have produced styles ranging from classical, rap, drum & bass and pop to rock, emo rock and punk. Over the past 8 years, I have learned piano formally to a 7th grade classical level (5th grade classical theory) and have worked with several local bands and singers to produce their music. My passion lies in production, my ultimate aim is produce release quality tracks for all artists.
